Our first offering, and the first of the series is called Operation Ecuadorian Atelopus and films the decline of one of the last two (of some perhaps 40 species) in Ecuador. The film documents that natural history of these beautiful toads, the causes of declines, and possible work we can be doing to save the remaining species. It also features original endemic-style musical scores and outtakes. The film is around 37 minutes in length and currently sold out, but a new run will be done by LATE SUMMER! on DVD. For more information, to be added to the list for copies when they are available, or for inquiries about distribution please contact us.

Current Projects

Operation Atelopus

The newest of the Atelopus series is currently in production! Since Feb. of 2006 we have been filming in various parts of Peru and Panama. We are continuing to film as many populations of Atelopus as time and money can permit.

Other Film Projects

As conservation is always our main focus, we have also branched out a bit with another film, this details some projects who have developed alternative ways to conserve forests using amphibians. The filming is nearly completed, but expect editing to take several months. Potential release date is early 2007.

We are actively seeking financial backing in the form of grants, equipment donation, etc-- so if you or someone you know could help us out, please contact us for more information.
